Classical Doors has been selling a range of in-wall sliding door systems, known as cavity sliders, since 1995, providing an efficient and comprehensive service to architects, builders, merchants, joinery shops, and pre-hangers.  We hold a large stock of cavity sliders to ensure quick delivery nationwide. Cavity sliding door solutions can be used in both exterior and interior situations. Configuration options include double (ie bi-parting) and multiple-overtaking units, braced wall units, automatic and self-closing options, special systems for disabled access and healthcare, smoke stop and acoustically rated units. Other options cover full height detail and negative detail. Custom units can be made to meet most design requirements.

Standard cavity slider units are designed for a range of door sizes 1980mm high by 610 to 910mm wide and wall stud sizes of 90, 94 and now 70mm with gib linings of 10mm or 13mm. Standard jambs are clear pine and are either flat for architraves or grooved for gib linings. Special jambs can be made from other suitable timbers to meet your specific design specifications. Powder coated and anodized aluminium jambs are also available. Classical Doors sliders will accommodate a door up to 40mm thick, which allows for any door in the Classical Doors range, along with frameless glass doors, aluminium doors and mirror glass doors. Limited somewhat by the bulk of the unit, the maximum door height and width is almost unrestricted, which caters for most architectural requirements. The door(s) and handle(s) etc can be cropped and fitted at our factory and transported whilst inside the cavity unit. The quick release carriages allow for easy removal and re-installation of the door for painting, etc.
